Safety - Everyone's Responsibility

Protecting the health and safety of employees, guests, and the environment is the primary concern of all of us at Copper Mountain and is also part of our culture.  Our goal is to have no injuries or accidents.  In order to achieve this goal, each of us must constantly be thinking of our safety as well as the safety of others.  Accident prevention and observation of workplace health and safety conditions are everyone’s responsibility.

This goal can be met through the development of a comprehensive and effective environmental health and safety plan that endeavors to eliminate unsafe conditions and minimizes the impact of hazardous situations.  Development of this plan takes contribution from all employees at our resort. Such a program can benefit the Copper Mountain community by reducing illness and injury to personnel, preventing property damage, and preserving the environment.

Copper Mountain will make every reasonable effort to promote, create, and maintain a safe and healthful environment.  This can only be realized by adherence to basic safety principles, sound management practices, and compliance with applicable federal, state, and local codes, laws, and standards.
